Install the New Version for Mac: Keyboard Maestro

Keyboard Maestro, a powerful productivity enhancer engineered by Stairways Software Pty Ltd and distributed by FastSpring, has recently released its new version 10.0 for macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later. This new version boasts numerous improvements and features that enhance the overall user experience.

One of the notable changes in Keyboard Maestro 10.0 is the addition of a Hardened Runtime and Notarized status, ensuring a more secure and trustworthy experience. Additionally, the software now supports Apple Silicon natively, making it compatible with the latest Intel 64-bit and Apple Silicon architectures.

The new version also introduces a plethora of AppleScript facilities, allowing for greater customization and automation. Users can now take advantage of numerous small changes that improve Keyboard Maestro across the board, including more filters, actions, and triggers.

Another significant addition is the concept of Subroutines, which allows passing multiple parameters to a macro to perform tasks shared by multiple macros. The Return action enables returning information back to the calling macro, making it easier to manage complex workflows.

The editor has been enhanced with the ability to save favorite actions preconfigured with your choice of values, colors, and other settings. Additionally, users can now select an area on the screen using a new action and combine it with OCR facilities to OCR any area on the screen.

The Clipboard History window has also undergone enhancements, including more information like word and line count, as well as additional options for setting the clipboard or pasting plain text. Version 10 also adds support for showing information in the menu bar, including dynamic icons and text, with dynamic menus of macros that can be triggered easily.

Lastly, the new Paste by Name facility allows users to quickly paste text straight from their clipboard history. Overall, Keyboard Maestro 10.0 is a significant update that offers numerous improvements and features that will enhance productivity for Mac users.
